On 5 June 2026, as part of an international presentation at the National University of Uzhhorod (Uzhhorod, Ukraine), the German-language textbook *General Administrative Law of Ukraine* was officially launched; its editors are Professors DDr. Dr. h.c. Wieser, Dr Lazur, Dr Karabin and DDr. Bilash.

During the presentation, the distinctive features of the textbook were highlighted and the book’s concept was explained in detail. In addition to the editors and co-authors of the textbook, the presentation was also attended by diplomatic representatives, including the Ukrainian Ambassador to Austria and the Austrian Ambassador to Ukraine, representatives of academic institutions, subject matter experts, representatives of judicial bodies and students. The textbook *General Administrative Law of Ukraine* by Wieser/Lazur/Karabin/Bilash (eds.) was published in early 2026 simultaneously by two leading academic publishers in Austria and Germany – Verlag Österreich (Vienna) and Berliner Wissenschafts-Verlag (Berlin). The work is the result of a successful collaboration between the Centre for Eastern European Law at the University of Graz (Austria) on the one hand, and Uzhhorod National University (Ukraine) on the other. Professor DDr. Dr. h.c. Bernd Wieser, Director of the Centre for Eastern European Law, and Petro Reshko, research assistant at the Centre for Eastern European Law from 2023 to 2024, are the co-authors of several chapters of the new textbook. In connection with the German edition of the textbook, a wide range of support work was carried out by Ms Mag. Inga Zelena-Bauer, LL.M., MA and Mag. Mr Petro Reshko (both at the Centre for Eastern European Law at the University of Graz) under the supervision of Univ.-Prof. DDr. Dr. h.c. Bernd Wieser. The textbook reflects Ukraine’s unique experiences and its transformation processes in the field of public administration, and familiarises German-speaking readers with the most important aspects of general administrative law in Ukraine. In doing so, it combines Ukrainian legal doctrine with approaches from Austrian and German administrative law scholarship. Further information on the new book *General Administrative Law of Ukraine* by Wieser/Lazur/Karabin/Bilash (eds), General Administrative Law of Ukraine, can be found at: General Administrative Law of Ukraine | Print | 99.105005/9783704698186.
