Visit by Prof. Bilash and working meeting to mark the publication of the new book

To mark the publication of the new German-language textbook on General Administrative Law of Ukraine (Verlag Österreich, Berliner Wissenschafts-Verlag, ISBN 10-3-7046-9869-5), edited by Bernd Wieser, Yaroslav Lazur, Tetyana Karabin and Oleksandr Bilash, a working meeting was organised with Prof. DDr. Oleksandr Bilash, J.C.L., LL.M., at the Centre for Eastern European Law in Graz. In addition to his role at the Chair of Administrative, Financial and Information Law at the National University of Uzhhorod (Ukraine), Prof. Bilash is the Director of the Scientific Institute for Canon Law and Church-State Relations at that university. We are delighted to welcome Prof. Bilash as a guest at the Centre for Eastern European Law! The working meeting at the Centre for Eastern European Law was hosted by Univ.-Prof. DDr. Dr. h.c. Bernd Wieser, Director of the Centre for Eastern European Law, on 18 March 2026. During the working meeting, Prof. Wieser thanked Prof. Bilash and his colleagues from the National University of Uzhhorod and the University of Graz for the successful collaboration that has developed as part of the international cooperation project under his leadership. The various tasks involved in this textbook project were carried out by Ms Inga Zelena-Bauer and Mr Petro Reshko (both from the University of Graz). In addition, the latest copies of the textbook were presented; these will shortly be sent to colleagues (editors, authors) in Ukraine (Uzhhorod).
