The international symposium was organised by the German Society for Eastern European Studies (DGO), the Centre for Eastern European Studies (FSO) at the University of Bremen, the Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (ZMOE) and the Institute of Slavic Studies at Dresden University of Technology, as well as the Leibniz Institute for the History and Culture of Eastern Europe (GWZO) in Leipzig.
As part of the 12th panel, ‘State Institutions and Social Negotiation Processes’, Inga Zelena-Bauer, LL.M., MA from the Centre for Eastern European Law, as a speaker, on the topic “The Institution(s) of the Ombudsman in the Legal System of Selected Post-Soviet States: Legal Peculiarities of Development and Implementation (Case Study – Ukraine)”. The presentation was followed by a professional exchange with recognised experts on each of the panel’s three main presentations, and finally a thematic discussion with a question-and-answer session.
