Literature Database on Russian Constitutional Law
As part of the preparation for publication of the Handbook of the Russian Constitution that appeared in 2014, an extensive research of the relevant literature on Russian constitutional law was conducted. In this work, it was not possible to build on the existing bibliographies in the Russian legal space because they do not exist in Russian textbooks on constitutional law and Russian constitutional commentaries. Therefore, the attempt was made to collect as much data on the relevant literature from 1992 to 2014 as possible. For this purpose, in addition to German- and English-language legal journals, over 40 Russian journals were analyzed, including such 'remote' journals as Vestnik Vladimirskogo juridičeskogo instituta or Graždanin. Vybory. Vlast': naučno-analitičeskij žurnal. The present collection is going to be transferred to an openly accessible, user-friendly databse. It is the next major project of CEELES (Centre of East European Law and Eurasian Studies). The Project Leader is Professor DDr. Bernd Wieser.
