Recent developments in constitutional law of South-Eastern Europe
In the framework of the project "Recent developments in constitutional law of South-Eastern Europe", local authors have provided written contributions about the constitutions of Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Kosovo (about 20 pages each). These articles have a consistent structure, focusing on the respective history of constitution-making, on constitutional principles, on fundamental rights and on the law of the state structure. They are all completed by a conclusion which attempts to give an outlook. These contributions aim to provide a deeper glimpse into the existing constitutional law of these countries, while, also, critically reflecting on the past developments and the potential need for reform. Those articles have been published as a special issue in "Osteuropa-Recht" (Law in Eastern Europe) in the issue 3/2016. The project coordinator has been Professor Bernd Wieser.
