5th International Legal Forum on

„Human Rights and Public Governance"

On June 10, 2022, the 5th International Legal Forum on „Human Rights and Public Governance: In Current Circumstances“ has successfully taken place in hybrid form on the basis of the law faculty of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University (Ukraine). The main working languages were Ukrainian and English.

The Centre for East European Law and Eurasian Studies (CEELES) based at the University of Graz also joint the organization of the International Legal Forum at stake. On behalf of the CEELES’s Director Univ.-Prof. DDr. Dr. h.c. Bernd Wieser, within the framework of the event’s extensive program, Assistance Professor Priv.-Doz. Mag. Dr.iur. Benedikt Harzl, M.A. and Inga Zelena, LL.M., M.A. addressed briefly the participants by delivering a welcome speech. Furthermore, as a speaker Inga Zelena presented in Ukrainian language her research results on the selected topic "Neutrality and Non-alignment Status of Ukraine: Aspects of International Law". After the Forum a volume of conference materials will be compiled and published by the beginning of July, containing the papers of the participants.

                In comparison to previous years, the Forum included a new subsection titled „Tribune of a Young Scientist“, thus, inviting young scholars and providing them the opportunity to participate in the event while taking the floor in and joining the up-to-date scientific legal discussions.
