On April 7, 2023, the Centre for East European Law and Eurasien Studies (Faculty of Law, University of Graz, Austria) and the Department of Administrative, Financial and Information Law (Faculty of Law, Uzhhorod National University, Ukraine) jointly organized and successfully held a scientific event, dedicated to the official presentation of two new textbooks on the Special Administrative Law of Ukraine, in a mixed mode (offline in Uzhhorod and online for all interested from abroad).
The textbook “Special Administrative Law of Ukraine” edited by Wieser, Lazur, Karabin, Bilash (Publishing House Österreich and Berliner Wissenschafts-Verlag) was published in German in early 2023. At the end of 2022, the textbook “Special Administrative Law” edited by Wieser, Lazur, Karabin, Bilash (Publishing House „Helvetyka“, Odesa, Ukraine ) was published in Ukrainian and has already proven itself – during the course on administrative law for students of Uzhhorod National University this academic year – as being to the closest possible extent to modern law textbooks according to European standards.
The opening speeches were delivered by by Prof. Lazur, Prof. Karabin, Prof. Bilash on behalf of the Ukrainian side, and Prof. Wieser, Director of the Centre for East European Law and Eurasien Studies, on behalf of the Austrian side. Among those invited and present at the presentation of both textbooks were students, professors and persons interested in the further development of administrative law.
